Circle of Security Parenting™
In-person groups
Program Logistics, Safety & Policies
Thank you for choosing to journey with us at The Redefining Nurture Project. To ensure a safe, supportive, and seamless experience for everyone, we ask that you carefully read through the details and policies below regarding our in-person group programs.
Before finalising your booking, you will be required to confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
Program Framework
Format: Join an existing group or gather your own community (such as a parent’s group, pre-natal class, or colleagues) to host a private session.
Capacity: Groups of 2–8 participants.
Time: One 2-hour session per week for 8 weeks (16 hours total).
Investment: $480 AUD (equates to $60 per session).
Policies & Participant Agreement
1. Investment, Invoicing & Payment
To secure your placement within a group cohort, The Redefining Nurture Project operates on an upfront, pre-pay basis.
Program Investment: The total investment for the 8-week group program is $480 AUD per participant (which equates to $60 per 2-hour session).
Booking & Payment Process
Enquiry: Submit our online enquiry form and tell us which group you wish to join (or the venue and group size for hosted private groups).
Invoicing: We will then email you a detailed invoice. Pay the invoice within two business days to secure your place in the program.
Intake Form: Your invoice will include a link to our brief Intake Form. Completing this before the program begins is a requirement, as it helps us tailor the program to your circumstances and ensures we have a shared understanding of how our program operates before we begin.
Payment Options
Credit / Debit Card (Stripe): Pay instantly and securely online using the payment link included on your invoice.
Bank Transfer (PayID / EFT): If you prefer to pay via bank transfer, you are welcome to use our PayID or bank details listed on your invoice. Please use your Invoice Number as the payment reference so we can easily track your payment.
Booking Confirmation: Because group sizes are strictly capped to maintain an intimate environment, your place in the group is only guaranteed once your invoice has been paid in full.
Quotes: If you require a formal quote prior to invoicing, please request this on your enquiry form. Issued quotes are valid for 5 working days.
2. Group Minimum Numbers, Substitutions & Cancellations
To ensure the depth and dynamic of the group experience, our group programs require a minimum of two participants to proceed.
If Minimum Numbers Are Not Met: If fewer than two people register for your scheduled group, we will contact you via email at least one week prior to the start date. You will be given the option to transfer your registration to a future group, transition to a one-on-one booking, or receive a full refund.
Facilitator Cancellation & Program Continuity: Because the Circle of Security Parenting framework is a progressive, 8-week curriculum where each session builds directly on the last, individual chapters cannot be skipped or refunds issued for standalone sessions. In the rare event that an unforeseen circumstance (such as facilitator illness) disrupts our schedule, we operate under the following protocols to protect your learning and investment:
Facilitator Substitution: To ensure consistency and minimise disruption to your schedule, The Redefining Nurture Project may arrange for our accredited co-facilitator to step in and deliver your session if your primary facilitator is unavailable.
Single Session Rescheduling: If a session must be postponed and a substitute facilitator is unavailable, the missed content will be rescheduled to ensure the integrity of your 8-week program. This may involve shifting the program conclusion date out by one week, or hosting an online make-up session prior to your next scheduled session.
Unforeseen Program Cancellation: We are deeply committed to completing every cohort's journey. However, in the highly unlikely event that we are forced to permanently cancel a program midway through the eight weeks due to long-term emergency or illness, you will receive a full refund of your entire program investment.
3. Refunds & Transfers
Because our group sizes are strictly limited and curated to ensure an intimate environment, late cancellations significantly impact the planning and running of the program for others.
Cancellations 10+ Days Prior: A full refund will be honoured for any cancellation request submitted at least 10 days before the first scheduled session.
Cancellations Within 10 Days: We are unable to issue refunds for requests made within 10 days of the program’s commencement. However, your registration can be transferred once to a future scheduled program.
4. Attendance, Children, & Catch-Up Sessions
Commitment to the full 8-week journey allows the group to build trust and ensures you receive the full depth of the Circle of Security Parenting framework.
Individual Booking: A booking is for one designated adult to attend the eight sessions. Registrations cannot be shared between different participants across the weeks.
Adults-Only Environment: To allow all participants space to deeply focus, reflect, and engage in conversations—and because we are directly discussing our relationships with them—children are not able to attend the sessions.
Missed Sessions & Paid Catch-Ups: We understand that life with children is unpredictable. If you are unable to attend a scheduled group session, please notify your facilitator with as much advance notice as possible. To ensure you don't lose the thread of the program and remain eligible for your completion certificate, we offer the option to book a dedicated 30-minute online catch-up session via our secure platform for a fee of $50. While we will do our utmost to schedule a catch-up session with you, these sessions are subject to facilitator availability, are not guaranteed, and are capped at a maximum of two catch-up sessions per participant per program.
Program & Certificate Integrity: Because each week builds directly on the last, participants who miss a session but choose not to book an online catch-up—or those who miss more than two sessions total—will unfortunately be ineligible to receive an official completion certificate. While you are still warmly welcome to attend the remaining group sessions for your own personal learning, no refunds can be offered for missed content.
Certificates of Completion: An official Circle of Security Parenting certificate will be issued to participants who attend all eight sessions in full (including any approved catch-up sessions).
5. Confidentiality & Safety
Creating a felt sense of safety is foundational to our work. What is shared within the group must stay within the group.
Participant Confidentiality: By booking, you agree to respect the privacy of your fellow participants and agree not to share any personal stories, identifiers, or details discussed during the sessions outside of the group setting.
Our Commitment to Confidentiality: All information collected by The Redefining Nurture Project remains strictly confidential unless you provide explicit written consent (such as for a testimonial). You can read our Privacy Policy here for more information.
Mandatory Reporting: While confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us, our facilitators are registered professionals and mandatory reporters. This means we are legally required to release information to relevant government organisations in circumstances involving a risk of significant harm, or actual significant harm, to children or young people.
6. Environment & Safety (For Hosted Private Groups)
If you have gathered your own community and are hosting a private group in a private space or home, the safety of both our facilitator and the participants is paramount.
Venue Suitability: The host agrees to provide a space that is quiet, private, and free from significant disruptions so that the group can focus on the program material.
Access, Parking & Travel: To ensure our facilitators can arrive safely, carry program materials, and begin your group sessions on time, reliable parking arrangements are required.
The group host is responsible for ensuring the facilitator has access to legal, safe parking within a short, walkable distance (no more than a 3-to-5 minute walk) from the venue.
A standard parking allowance is built into our framework; however, if the chosen location requires specialised parking—such as commercial parking stations or high-density metered zones exceeding $12 per session—the additional cost will be the responsibility of the host.
If parking parameters cannot be met or are exceptionally restrictive, please flag this during your initial consultation so we can discuss alternative arrangements or a transition to our online delivery mode.
7. Right to Terminate: The Redefining Nurture Project retains the absolute right to end a session immediately, or cancel the remainder of the program, if a facilitator ever feels unsafe, threatened or compromised in a private space or home. In the highly unlikely event that this clause is invoked, a pro-rata refund for any remaining un-facilitated sessions will be issued, and our service agreement will be terminated.
Confirmation & Agreement
By confirming your booking via email and proceeding with payment of your invoice, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms listed above.
If you have any questions or require clarification on any of these points before booking, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at martha@redefiningnurture.com.au
